Basketball is one
of the most popular and widely viewed sports in the world.
Below is a collection of free online basketball games that can be
played in the comfort of your own home. Whether you are
interested in shooting some hoops a slam dunk, we've got what
you need.
Prison Basketball
The prison warden has organized a basketball
tournament for inmates with good behavior. Win the tournament and your
time in prison will be shortened. Use the left and right arrows to move
the player and the CTRL button to shoot the basketball. In order to score,
you move to the exact middle of the red X that appears on the court. Act
quickly because the red X will not stay in one place for very long. Once
the X disappears, you cannot make a shot from that position any longer.
You'll have to move to the next location and try again.
On the main menu of this game, there are several
different options that you can choose from. The first is Tournament.
In the tournament, you'll be able to either start a new tournament or continue
an existing one (assuming that you played one previously). There are 10
total rounds in the tournament. In the first round, you'll have sixty
seconds to score just five baskets. This may sound simple, but don't
worry, the objectives get more complicated as you progress deeper and deeper
into the game. The second option is Training. This is just a simple
shoot around with the objective of making as many baskets as is humanly
possible. You will have thirty seconds to accomplish this. Plus, for
every perfect shot that you make, you will be awarded an additional second of
time. You will know when you make a perfect shot, because a little message
will appear on the screen indicating that you have done so. A perfect shot
is a pure swish, so if you hit the backboard or rim on any shot, don't expect it
to be categorized as perfect! The third option is called How to Play? and
details everything you'll need to do in order to make baskets. These
instructions are also presented in the first paragraph (above) for your
convenience. The last option is the Credits. Here you can see the
individuals responsible for the art, programming and development of Prison
Basketball.
